One Accord, through Grace

"God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. ⁹ Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. ¹⁰ For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." - Ephesians 2:8-10

You were not just saved by grace to be somebody...

BUT
You were also empowered by Grace to do something



"In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you." 

 - Romans 12:6

Grace is God's free empowerment. It empowers us to live like Jesus.

We are not going to be judged by what we did, but what we are called to do!

1 Corinthians 4:1 "Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards."

Steward- One who manages another's property or other affairs.

1 Peter 4:10 "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards on the manifold grace of God."

1 Corinthians 4:2 "Moreover it is required in stewards that one be faithful."

Faithful - Multiplication

Those who multiply- faithful and good

Those who maintain- wicked and lazy

1 Corinthians 4:16-17 "Therefore i urge you, imitate me. For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I everywhere in every church."

1 Corinthians 12: 4-6 "There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. There are diversities of operations, but it is the God which worketh all in all."

"Then they said, “Come, let’s build a great city for ourselves with a tower that reaches into the sky. This will make us famous and keep us from being scattered all over the world.”

⁵ But the Lord came down to look at the city and the tower the people were building. ⁶ “Look!” he said. “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them! " - Genesis 11:4-6
To effectively build a house of God we must be one.

Psalm 133: 1,3 "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity: yes, that's where God commands His blessing."

John 17:22 "The glory which you gave me I have given them, that they be one."
If it more important to one than to be right.

Philippians 2:2 "Fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind."

Today I want to challenge you to be in one accord with someone. Agree to no longer disagree.
