Our God

Life is definitely very fickle, it throws curve balls from directions that you didn't even know existed.
But the great news is that we serve a god who is bigger than all that! He is mighty to save and he can anything.
The bible says that we can do all things through Him who gives us strength! Do you believe that?
God is bigger than all our problems. He will always come through for us, no matter how impossible something might seem.
Just trust him, with your whole heart. Because believe me He knows if it's not with everything.

Love Decree

Love Decree

I, enter name, will love dearly, welcome, and entertain the Lord, my God, the person I belong to, my master, my possessor, my owner, my chief, and my Messiah. I, enter name, will love Him with all of my heart, my passion, my vigor, my thoughts, and my desires, my appetites, my affection, my purposes, my enedeavors, my will and character, the central and innermost part of me and my prayers, my breath, the vital force in my body, my feelings, my intelligence, my mind, my understanding, my thoughts, my thinking and my strength, my abiliby, my physical might. This is the most important, the first on, enter name, list. But there is a second command on my list to set alongside it. I, enter name, will love others, my friends, my fellow man, my neighbor and any other person irrespective of nation or religion with whom I encounter or have a chance tommen, I will love them as I love myself.  These two commands are essential pegs for, enter name; everything in God’s law and the prophets hangs, suspends, is summed up and fulfilled in my life as I life out these two precepts.

I believe that the best way to start out this new year is by devoting ourselves to God. If you believe that with me then you sign the Love Decree and put it up somewhere. Hang it on a bulletin board, put it on your mirror, in your car. Somewhere that you can see it every day and be reminded that you belong to God. :)

A Fresh Start

2012

Yay! Happy New Years! Every year it seems like the year goes by faster and faster. It seems just like yesterday it was New Years of 2011. Wow, life definitely moves on.

Yesterday I was reading out of Revelation chapter 4. (You should try reading it sometime, it's chalk full of lots of interesting stuff!) Verses 10-11 caught my eye as I reading. "The twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and worship Him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: 'You are worthy, our Lord and God, the receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."

You know, after this life we go to one of two places. Hell or Heaven. I'm going to Heaven. When we get there we will be able to worship him for ever and ever. I mean can you even fathom that! Just worshipping in His presence for all eternity...hmm.
God is Holy, He is full of honor and power. Our God Reigns!

The Lord will endure always. He created us and we live in Him.
You know, sometimes the Bible doesn't always make sense. Or it does but it just seems to hard for us to always obey it. But the Lord isn't expecting us to follow a bunch of rules and to be tied down. He wants us to live our lives to the fullest, in Him. When we leave this earth and die, God doesn't. He will always be there, He is omnipresent. Forever. Live in Him. Find eternal rest.
