All Things

What's up guys! :) I have had a crazy busy past week and a half. Papers are due, Shakespeare lines have to be memorized, advocacy speeches written, and poetry assignments. Nuts. So how was your week?

So recently I have this new phase. It's not really a phase as it is so much of an addiction. So I am in love with Dr. Pepper! And this whole school year I have like been addicted to it...drinking it multiple times a day. But now...there is something brand new to replace that addiction! PEACE TEA!!! It's soooo amazing. My personal fav is their green tea. You have to try it! I get it at the gas station. LOL

Journal 8:

So last weeks journal was very personal. But it should have really made you think. It was definitely a thinker that one! :) I don't know what I'm going to blog about once the journal idea is over. I only have two more after this one. I really hope that you guys are still keeping up with them and not just reading these passages.
Also! I want to see your journals so bad! Once this is all over and done with, upload some pictures on here in the comment strands if you can. It would make my day. :) (which, by the way, has not been made today)

Okay, Journal number 8.

Topic:

What historical person I admire the most?
Why?

This one isn't that serious. For me, it would have to be President John F. Kennedy. I know, I know. A lot of people give me a lot of grief for that one. But I can't help it. He was so like able! He was brutally murdered. He helped start the peace corps, he helped start the beginning of ending nuclear weapons. (Which still isn't fulfilled sadly) But he was so cool! I have written so many papers on him for fun and for school. Good times.

Here's the Jist:

#1: Drama
Girls have a lot of drama. I for one can attest to that! It's sick how much drama teenage girls can get into. Guys too believe it or not. We have to put up with a lot.
Tip #1:Secret Keeper
Girls like to have secrets. But more importantly, we like to tell people our secrets. It just helps bring some closure and it helps us feel a little better. As a guy, you need to keep your mouth shut. (Girls too!) If someone tells you a secret, keep it mum. Lock your lips and throw away the key. Telling someone eles's secrets is wrong, plus your gossiping.

#2: Pressure
When you're a teenager, theirs a lot of pressure on you. Sometimes a little too much. I think that girls have a harder time dealing with pressure than guys do for some reason.
Tip #2: Strong Tower
If someone you know is going through a particularly tough time, be there for them. Even if you don't say anything. Sometimes just having someone there can mean the world to them.

Personally Yours:

Today I went to a funeral. This man was a member of my church and strong believer. His story is amazing! And his legacy that he left behind for his wife and children..is absolutely breathtaking! I really wish that I could have known him.
I'm friends with his son. The story is sad. He died of a heart attack. He was perfectly healthy too.

Sometimes when stuff like this happens we question God. I know that I have! And it seems like God almost never answers. Does that mean that he doesn't know the answers himself? No way! God knows everything. But sometimes I think that God knows it's better for us in the long run if we don't know everything that we want to know when we want to know it. (If that makes any sense)
When my dad died almost four years ago. I was so confused. He had cancer...since I was three. And he died when I was thirteen. For ten years my daddy struggled with this. Endless pain. Constant fear. And he rarely complained.
When my dad died I grew bitter. I fell into depression. And I started hurting myself. To be more precise...I started cutting. I stopped in July of last year. But the damage that I did to myself, not so much physically but emotionally, was irreparable. The only one that can save me is God.
And He is. :) I am healing. I am beginning the healing process.

So believe me when I say that their is nothing too big for our God to accomplish! He created this universe, He delivered me from suicidal thoughts, He raised His Son from the dead. Our God is Awesome! I God can do ALL things. Nothing is too big for my God. What about yours?
